One beautiful spring day, the gods came together to bring a petite soul into the world; however, had the gods known that it was Sheri Lazare, they may have changed their minds. After many moons, and many drinks, Sheri currently is working on tasting all the brands of vodka that she can find, in hopes of ridding the world of bad taste.

When she is not saving the taste buds of all, she serves as the President of the Louisiana Council for Economic Education, a state wide non-profit.

Previously, she developed and ran the prospect research department at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette. Sheri lives in Lafayette, LA with her four-legged children.

NEWS - Congratulations to our own past president, Sheri Lazare, for receiving the 2006 Rookie of the Year Award from the National Association of Economic Educators and the National Council on Economic Education. This award annually identifies an individual who has "hit the ground running" and taken up the challenge of providing economic education programs or services as appropriate to his or her position.
