Paulette Butterworth started her research career at Texas Tech University in 1997, after completing her BA in English and Religious Studies there. Not really knowing what she was going to do with her life, she was looking for a job when her friend, Ali McLane called and offered her a position as a Research Coordinator in Tech’s Development Office. Having no idea of what she was getting into, Paulette accepted the position and has never looked back! In 2003, Paulette left Tech and went to work for Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. She has been on the Board of Directors for APRA-SW for two years, previously serving as the TX Rep.

Paulette and her husband, Dan, are big fans of reading and watching movies together. However, with the arrival of their son, Drew, 19 months ago, that time has dwindled sharply!
